“Incredible Families” Program

“Incredible Families” is about creating a loving, nourishing, supportive, and safe environment for each member of the family. Designed to identify age-appropriate requirements necessary to assist each person, “Incredible Families” relies on and enhances individual responsibility, accountability, and healthy relationships.

Imagine you as a parent listened to, understood, acknowledged, and meeting the needs of each child, and in turn each child respected and appreciated you, and then, consequently, behaved appropriately? “Incredible Families” is designed to support you in learning how to set up, implement and structure a healthy family lifestyle. The younger the child the quicker they adapt, and no matter what age, you and they are worth the effort to restructure and create your Incredible Family!

The “Incredible Families” Program includes:

  • Individual Coaching
  • Parent Coaching
  • Modeling for Fun and Success
  • Interactive “Incredible Families” Seminars educating family members about emotional responsibility, family contribution, and a restoration of happiness, both personally and in conjunction with your family life.

The interactive “Incredible Families” Seminar called “Creating Your Incredible Family” is usually scheduled in person or over Zoom whenever all members of the family are going to be present.

The first “Incredible Families” seminar is “Planting Seeds.”  This seminar teaches that thoughts are like seeds and assists family members in becoming more conscious about what and how they are planting. Here you’ll create a “love menu” to articulate and better express your needs. You are taught that misbehavior is simply an unhealthy way of communicating what you really want. When misbehavior occurs, family members are encouraged to utilize their “love menus” to recognize the true nature of the expression and how to properly ask for what they want.

The seminar includes 15-30 minutes set up call wherein the facilitator and the parents or guardians discuss ahead of time what they’d like to have addressed along with what concerns they have for their children. The seminar with children runs approximately one hour, depending on the size of your family and their participation.  The interactive family seminar assembly will then take place for about an hour. After the family seminar, the parents or guardians and the facilitator will have a fifteen to thirty minute debriefing, summarizing the session to address any further concerns.

The second seminar is “Watering the Garden.”  This one-hour seminar identifies the principle theory that the thoughts you focus on are what seeds you water in your mind and consequently the plants you grow.  For supporting healthy self esteem of each member of your family, we look at each individual’s Super Powers, your family Super Powers , and Super Powers contribution needed in the family and community. Each family member will start to see how to contribute, utilize and strengthen their Super Powers while supporting what is needed.

The third seminar is “Weeding the Garden.”  We all have things happen in life that seem to block out the sun and happiness.  In this one-hour seminar your family learns a simple process to weed out the hurt, frustration, and anger that comes with daily situations. This makes room in the family garden for growth and development.

Testimonials:

“Vickie’s “Incredible Family Program” has made a positive impact on my family.  With 3 male introverts in the family, there wasn’t much communication going on among us.  Vickie helped us see things from a new perspective and express ourselves openly like we hadn’t before. It felt safe.

The two things that stand out in my mind are first, the day we talked about the ways we feel loved, and that it’s OK to ask for that love when we need it.  Finally, as a mom I knew how to give love to my kids in a way they could feel it.  That has made a big difference in the attitude of my kids and their willingness to contribute to family responsibilities.

The second thing that helped was when we took the time to list others “super hero” qualities or talents and how we could use these to work together.  I still have these cards hanging on a wall in my house as a reminder to look for the positive in one another.

If I went back in time to consider doing it again I would do it.” – Stephanie Hall

“Before doing the “Incredible Family Program,” my family really didn’t have words to talk about what makes us feel close to one another. It helped us to see that when we get upset, it often means our needs are not getting met – AND it helped us to see how we can meet one another’s needs more consistently. The program really got us in touch with our love for one another and created a sweetness in our communication. We still have our superpowers and our love menus hung up in the kitchen! Thank you, Vicki!” -B
